I'm also getting back into sound engineering, more because I'm getting offers than because I'm trying to; I do the occasional gig with Bryn Haworth and have toured with the heroes of my youth, After The Fire. I was pleased to overdub and mix a fund-raising CD for the Toybox charity, helping street children in South America. It’s nice to help a good cause and also end up with something of such high musical and technical quality. A similar organisation, StreetKids Direct, recruited me in December 2008 for two hours a day on Radio Christmas, short-term short-range radio for the Amersham area. Great fun to inflict my record collection on an unsuspecting public!
